Hyatt Deal – Stay in Dubai with 70% cash back!

Guess what! Hyatt is running a Spring Promotion, valid for stays till the 15th of May 2019. Registrations are required up till 31st March 2019.

The Details

The promotion states that you earn 1,000 points on all Hyatt hotels per night, i.e. maximum 50,000 points and extra 500 points per night for stays in Hyatt Place or Hyatt House i.e. maximum 25,000 points. Award nights are also counted towers extra bonus points.

Everyone knows summers are quite cheap in Dubai. Hyatt Place Baniyas square had a promotion ‘stay 3 pay 2’ and in which per night rate came to AED 140+taxes, but it looks this promotion has disappeared few days back.

So keeping in mind a rate starting from AED 168/night + taxes ($60 all inclusive) which is now showing on hyatt.com for both Hyatt Place Al Rigga and Hyatt Place Baniyas Square, you get 1,500 points/night + 250-500 base points depending on your World of Hyatt Status which equals to US$ 32-34 , if we value 1 Hyatt point at 1.8 cents (source: TPG).

Additionally, if you have a World of Hyatt Card or a Chase Sapphire , you can get extra 7.2% or 5% cashback on the card for Hyatt stays. If you add this up it comes up to US$ 40/night cashback.

The location of Hyatt Place Rigga is wonderful. I have stayed in Ibis Al Rigga which is next to this property, The metro is just 2 mins walk and the street is full of restaurants and cafes.

Hyatt Place Baniyas location is also good due to access to metro station.

What This Means?

You will be paying US$ 62/night in Dubai in a good 4-star property with free buffet breakfast for 2. This would give you a cashback in the form of World of Hyatt points of US$ 40/night. This is amazing.

Further, these nights would count to enhance your World of Hyatt status.
