Wyndham Hotels in Dubai and UAE on Points
Wyndham Rewards traditionally had a flat point redemption for 15,000 points per night. On April 3, 2019, Wyndham Rewards introduced a tiered award chart with different points redemptions per night. Let’s take a look at Wyndham Brands, the new award chart and then the list of all the Wyndham Hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that are redeemable on Points based on the new award chart.

Wyndham Rewards – New Award Chart
Wyndham introduced 3 award tiers for points redemption per night:
- 7,500 Points (or 1,500 Points + Cash)
- 15,000 Points (or 3,000 Points + Cash)
- 30,000 Points (or 6,000 Points + Cash)
What is a go freeSM Award?
A go free award is a redemption option that allows you to redeem between 7,500–30,000 Wyndham Rewards points for a free night at a participating hotel, or 15,000–30,000 points per bedroom at a participating club resort or vacation rental, subject to availability. Resort fees may apply and cannot be paid with points.
Members can only reserve go free award stays by booking online here, on a Wyndham Hotels & Resorts brand website, or by calling Wyndham Rewards Member Services at 866-996-7937.
Member must have enough points for all bedrooms in desired accommodation to book award nights. Cancellation policies vary by property. Blackout dates/rates, minimum length of stay requirements, and other restrictions apply. Most properties: applies to standard room rate only (including taxes).
What is a go fastSMAward?
A go fast award is a redemption option that allows you to redeem 1,500–6,000 Wyndham Rewards points to obtain a discounted rate at a participating hotel, or 3,000–6,000 points per bedroom to obtain a discounted night at a participating club resort or vacation rental. In other words, you can use your Wyndham Rewards points as partial payment for a stay, subject to availability.
Members can only reserve go fast award stays by booking online here, on a Wyndham Hotels & Resorts brand website, or by calling Wyndham Rewards Member Services at 866-996-7937.
Amount of cash required will vary by property, and Member must have enough points for all bedrooms in desired accommodation to book award nights. Resort fees and other types of fees may apply and cannot be paid with points. Cancellation policies vary by property. Blackout dates/rates, minimum length of stay requirements, and other restrictions apply. Most properties: applies to standard room rate only (excluding taxes). Not all properties participate in go fast nights.

Summary
While new changes to any reward program generally mean devaluation, it’s great that only 2 Dubai hotels moved to 30,000 points while most of the hotels in UAE now only need half the points for redemption, i.e. 7,500 points.
