Crazy Deal, Up to 80% Cashback on Hyatt Place Wasl Dubai
What an exciting deal Hyatt has come up with!
Recently, Hyatt has launched a deal for 500 bonus points for stays at all new hotels starting from May 1, 2019. Details of all new hotels participating and their dates can be found here.

Hyatt Place Wasl Deal
For Hyatt Place Wasl Dubai the promotion is valid for stays till July 31, 2019.
You are not required to register separately for this promotion. The great thing about this promotion is that it can be stacked with Hyatt Spring Promotion announced earlier this year.

The earlier promotion offered 1,000 points per qualifying night at Hyatt properties and an additional 500 points on Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties. If you had registered for the Spring Promotion, you can double-dip till May 15, 2019.
In other words, you can receive up to 2,000 points per qualifying night. Additionally, you can earn 250-500 base points per night depending on your World of Hyatt tier status. Further, if you have a World of Hyatt Card or a Chase Sapphire, you can get extra 7.2% or 5% cashback.
The best part is that this coincides with the low hotel season in Dubai due to Ramadan. If you were to book 10 nights from May 5 to May 15, 2019, the nightly rate is AED 186 (US$ 50) including taxes. This rate includes breakfast as well.
Your nightly earnings per night can be broken down as below
- 1,500 points as per Hyatt Spring promotion
- 500 points for Hyatt new hotel promotion
- 250-500 points depending on tier status
- US$ 2.5-3.5 cashback if you have specific credit cards
If you value World of Hyatt points at 1.4 cents, these add up to US$35 – US$40. This means 70% – 80% cashback. Isn’t this an incredible deal? If you value Hyatt points higher, your returns would go up as well.
Final Thoughts
If you plan to visit Dubai during this period, this deal is a no-brainer. While I have not visited the Wasl district, it is near to Al Rigga road and Al Ghurair Centre which is a very good area in Deira Dubai.
